Nous commençons notre visite à pied en rencontrant notre guide au restaurant Al Khayma Heritage situé dans le quartier historique d'Al Fahidi. Sentez-vous accueilli avec du café arabe et du thé aux dattes, où plus tard vous testerez également la culture arabe luqaimat, Ragag et la crème glacée au lait de chamelle. Explorez plus de saveurs de la cuisine émiratie en passant à l'option petit-déjeuner ou déjeuner.
Plus tard, continuez à explorer ce restaurant récompensé par Michelin Bib Gourmand et apprenez-en plus sur la transformation des Émirats arabes unis d'un simple désert avec des tentes, pour atteindre Mars.
Profitez-en pour explorer la chambre émiratie avec ses antiquités, en admirant le développement architectural de la réplique de la tente située au restaurant aux bâtiments traditionnels Arish fabriqués à partir de feuilles de palmiers dattiers jusqu'à la mégastructure.

En vous promenant dans les ruelles historiques d'Al Fahidi, imprégnez-vous de la riche histoire et du patrimoine d'Al Seef avant de visiter le plus grand musée du café du Moyen-Orient pour assister à une séance de préparation de café arabe en direct. Nous nous arrêterons également à la mosquée pour admirer l'architecture enchanteresse de la mosquée et en apprendre davantage sur l'islam.

We were a group of 6 friends at the tour and all of us loved it! Abdul was amazing with his story telling skills, also was super kind and knowledgeable. We learned the history of UAE and had the chance to walk arounf the old town. Definently a must have experience! Ps: weather was super hot and it is a walking tour, so bring thin linen & modest clothes with you.

My husband an I took this tour today and Abdul did not disappoint, he is a great guide and very knowledgeable. He’s kind and gave as a really good taste of the local life of Dubai’s old city. Explained the history behind and gave us tips for when we arrive at the Souks and provided all we needed to feel comfortable. The coffee at the traditional Emirati place was amazing!
I recommend this tour all the way. Thank you for the great pictures Abdul!

Our guide Riah was brilliant - very knowledgeable, informative and considerate. She also was flexible in adjusting on the fly as one elderly member of our family had trouble walking long distances.

It was such an informative and enjoying tour! Learnt so much about Dubai, including some really interesting facts from Maaz Khan (our tour guide). The local afternoon tea was amazing, and so was the private abra ride. Maaz is very knowledgeable and interesting, and highly recommended!

I signed up for the trip spontaneously, the guide name maaz khan was excellent! Throughout the tour we stopped and the guide explained about every area, the history and the present. We didn't stop drinking coffee and tea, we tasted and ate all kind of local food in dubai. The guide is very nice, clear, with great knowledge about Dubai! Kind, polite. We received from him recommendations on other places in Dubai and I am looking forward to the next tour. Thanks maaz!!! Its was great!!

Our guide was Maaz Khan, we did the walking tour with him. He was very informative and made the tour very interesting. We did the tour with our toddler who got restless ever so often, he was very accomodating and allowed us rest breaks when needed. Would really recommend the tour for gaining insight on how dubai came to be the city it is now.

Unforgettable walking tour with the best guide - A must do at Dubai

This 3.5 hour walking tour (2.00-5.30pm) was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Dubai. Our guide Maaz Khan was the ultimate professional tour guide that one could ask for - knowledgeable, courteous, punctual and friendly.

Starting at the iconic Al Khayma Restaurant, Maaz bhai took us through the aesthetically rebuilt old town, stopping once every few minutes to either explain a few critical facts about Emirati history or to click photos. The viewpoint at the creek, the stop over at the Coffee Museum, the Bedoiun setup along with the domestic camels, the sumptuous and tasty late lunch at Al Khayma and finally the abra tour across the creek to the Souk - all together made this heritage tour a memorable experience.

Superb trip, a must do!

This was a great trip exploring Dubai with our guide Maaz Khan. We were picked up on time from our hotel in a 7 seater before picking up another couple just down the road. The trip delivered on what it said it would do and nothing was too much for Maaz, who by the way takes a wicked photo!

If you have not been to Dubai before, I would suggest doing this at the start of your break as Maaz would be able to give good advice on other places to visit and things to do .
