A snapshot of Dubai

A great way to see beautiful Dubai. The staff were freindly and helpful. The buses were great with their open top. I could withstand the heat upstairs until around lunch time and then came downstairs to the comfort of the air conditioner. Had a great experience as we were only in Dubai for a stopover. I felt like we got to see alot of the city on this tour. Make sure ypu take plenty of water and wear comfortable clothes and a hat.

Hop on hop off bus is the best way to discover a city. Every time we arrive in a new city the first thing we do is get the bus to get our bearings. Thoroughly recommend.

As a wheelchair user I was pleasantly surprised by the accessibility of the bus and the extras that are proposed by the 5 day ticket. A big thank you to Kareem for helping me in and out of the bus very often!

One charges for two buses

My client is a wheelchair user. Both buses are on two different routes on the same day. Only one is charges for both routes. It is cheap. Both buses made sure to put ramp in right place for wheelchair user. The second driver named Hamraz made sure if we were OK when there was heavy traffic jam in rush hour. He dropped us at hotel where the bus would pass. I recommend the bus because you can see somewhere outside before you visit somewhere.

Just the night I dreamt about with i was young, cozy city lights, skyscrapers, and the beauty of sky full of stars.. The trip was smooth , and the tour guide named cecilia really got us on the mood, she gave the detailed information of every spots, every streets, and explained it well , even my toddler was enjoying everytime cecilia waves her hands from direction to direction she’s more than a tour guide she’s really an entertainer.. When you’ve got to visit dubai you can look for this lady and surely you will have a great time.. Anyway the bus was really comfortable, kid friendly, you can choose the lower cabin but because this is our first time with the family, we chose to go up the stairs to see the perfect panoramic view of every scene.. the big bus is really superb.. I am from Saudi so i have lot of chances to visit the place real soon.. Goodluck travellers i hope this review helps ♥️

Wonderful Experience !! Best Way to Start 2023

My Journey Started when I got to Abu Dhabi on my First Day Excursion After a Seven Day Cruise on the Emirates. I was now on my Own Exploring the City and I could not have Chosen a Better Way than by The Exciting Hop on Hop Off Big Red Bus !!
This Was The BEST Way to get to All the Most Iconic Places without any time to Waist
The Service they provided us was Excellent!! I was Introduced to the Big Red Bus By Monsy And Shally at the Cruise Port in Abu Dhabi they Offered the Big Bus Service and This was By Far the BEST!!! Great Service, Professional, And most Importantly Friendly Staff.
All the Bus Drivers Were Kind, Patient Knowledgeable
On my Second Day I almost missed the Bus and One of the Drivers Contacted the Driver that was Going to the Big Mosque who kindly Picked us up around the Corner I wrote the name to make sure I Mention his Name but Unfortunately I misplaced the Paper. Sorry!! I think it was Mr, Mahmad He was at the Abu Dhabi Mall Big Bus Itinerary.

Honestly All the Staff should be Recognized by their Great Effort to Assist All Tourists Especially The One and Only Monsy!! You Are Wonderful Your Attention and Dedication to provide Excellent Service should be Awarded You Made Our Vacation One of the BEST !!!

Lost & found in Dubai

In Nov 2022 me and my family explored Dubai with Big Bus Tours. During one tour I left my cap (extremely rare) in one of the busses. After a while I recognized my loss and immediately emailed the Big Bus team in Dubai. The team was extremely helpful and did all the can to find the cap (further investigations, contacting the bus drivers, etc.). To be honest I had no hope to get the cap back.
At the end of the second day we returned to the cruise terminal in Dubai and one of the team mates of Big Bus Tours awaited me with the lost cap in his hand. I was so happy and I am still grateful for the efforts of the team. Again a big thanks to the entire team and keep going like this. You are the best, guys!!!

Our New Friends: Minhaj, Sabir and Umer

Some people just do their jobs and nothing more. However, the employees with Big Bus tours were all so hospitable, warm and friendly to my family. Minhaj, Sabir and Umer were three employees that left a positive mark on us. We bumped into them twice during our 5 day stay, and it made all of our faces light up. We felt like we had friends in Dubai that were looking out for us.

Minhaj helped us figure out an itinerary for our day that worked the best for us.
Sabir helped us figure out convenient ways on how to get home after the Blue Line operating hours.
Umer was great on checking in on us and making sure we were being connected to the correct bus line (Red/Blue/Excursion).

Highly recommend this company and it’s hip-on-hop-off package.

Excellent service, managed to haggle an included sunset tour from the salesman. All staff were pleasant and friendly, went above and beyond to help. The area by the Dubai mall where the red/blue/sunset/night tours meet was very busy but always plenty of staff around to direct you. Really enjoyed the tour, although the commentary really needs updating as many places were not mentioned and the stops were not always highlighted, although the driver did tell us in these cases. The Dhow cruise was good but not well signed where to get on. The sunset tour was a lovely addition. If the commentary was updated there would be nothing to fault. Buses were all on time and staff always friendly.

We really enjoyed our hop on hop off bus tour. We had a four year old and a baby with us. All the bus drivers helped us get the buggy on and off. The best thing about this tour is the staff who are absolutely amazing always smiling and soo helpful. They really do make the whole experience enjoyable. A special thanks to Zahid (red route bus driver) for helping us today when it was raining. Also thank you to Raju and Ram for being helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend this company much better than other bus tour companies. Thanks everyone

With little time in Dubai this is the best way to see the city and surrounds

The city view from the top deck of the bus is great

Only downside is the the aircon was struggling in the 40c plus temps

Coming into the Downtown part of the city from the airport and it felt like one big block after skyscraper after highway of apartments, offices and transport links. Lots of concrete, steel, glass and tarmac interspersed with the odd patch of strategically placed, obligatory and perfectly manicured greenery. An architects brilliant vision and a story of engineering wizardry, particularly given the fact that until relatively recently, today’s Dubai was yesteryear’s desert ! The Hop On/Off bus is a terrific way of orienting and learning more about how the city came to be and how it now works. For £60 (!), you get a day’s ticket across 3 routes, the ‘blue’ route at 2.5 hours being the longest. From it, I started to appreciate better all the Hollywood glitz, all the Singaporean cleanliness and all the German ‘works like clockwork’. But Dubai at it’s heart ( and amongst all the designer rich ‘malls’ ), whilst ‘amazing’ has no real soul and it’s certainly difficult to experience ‘peace’. Been here, done it…and probably won’t be wearing the T-shirt.

We went in family and took the blue tour which is the modern Dubai. We didn't manage to take the red tour due to time constraints. My advise, go early to enjoy it all

Good experience however very disappointed that the last bus from.Dubai mall was 5pm.which we missed because of traffic and had to take a taxi to our hotel

The bus did stop at many of the favorite tourist spots in Dubai. However, the audio was not great, as it didn't even talk about several of the stops at all, instead talking about the royal family and such, which had nothing to do with the location. The audio also wouldn't mention what stop we were at most of the time when the bus stopped. We were told they are redoing the audio, so that would be a big improvement. The A/C was also not great, and several vents didn't work at all. Might be best to avoid in the heat of the summer. On the bright side; the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
